PER Recognition Dinner
Have you ever wondered who all of those people are in the pictures on the wall in the entry way to the Lodge? Our Chico Lodge #423 is very fortunate to have had a group of Exalted Rulers who have helped guide this Lodge through good times and bad. We are going to gather together on September 10, 2008, to honor one of these gentlemen. I would like to invite all members to come on down to the Lodge that night to take part in a special event.The First Annual Past Exalted Rulers Recognition Dinner will start at 5 PM with a social hour. Dinner will be served at 6 PM. Our Executive Chef, Matt Goodrich, will be preparing 8 ounce Prime Rib, Baked Potatoes with all the fixings, Caesar Salad, Dinner Rolls and Dessert.
We will be honoring Clifford Beatty, Past California Elks State President, 1985-1986; Past District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler, 1973-1975; and Past Exalted Ruler, Chico Lodge #423, 1963-1964.
We will also be having a 50/50 raffle as well as raffling off a wine basket and a spirit basket. All proceeds from the dinner and the night’s events will be donated to the Chico Lodge Past Exalted Rulers Association. So, come on down, enjoy a great Prime Rib Dinner, meet many of the men who have helped guide this historic Lodge, and help to honor Clifford Beatty. The Lodge will have its regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 that evening. Please plan on staying for the meeting and see what is going on at YOUR LODGE.
