The future of this community lies in the hands of our youth. It is up to their parents and civic minded adults to ensure that our youth are prepared for the demands of adulthood. As such, Elks are always looking for ways to assist boys and girls in the community to demonstrate the patriotism, leadership skills, compassion and mental and physical well-being needed to keep America a free and prosperous nation.
With this goal in mind the Chico Elks Lodge #423 actively participates in the following state association youth programs:
- Americanism Essay Contest
- Drug Awareness
- Hoop Shoot
- Scholarships Program
- Scouting - Boy Scout Troop 423
